Saturday (1/27/07) in opposition to
President Bush’s plan of troop escalation.
Citizens for Peace and Justice in Southern
Colorado will also be staging a rally in
unison with our Nation’s Capitol at
the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Help
send a Nationwide message to Bush and
Congress that the WAR MUST END!

Additional Info about the Rally:
1. Event will be "Open Mic" which means that everyone who wishes to speak will be given a chance. Senator Salazar and Congressman Salazar have prepared statements for the event which be read out by me.
2. Rally will take place "rain or shine." People are dying everyday, the least we can do is be cold for an hour or two.
3. Call and write our Representatives! If you called last week, call again! They need to be urged every single day that they must oppose troop escalation and the continuation of the Iraq War.

5. Youth: Wake Up!!! Your involvement has been nonexistent. People our age in uniform are dying everyday over an illegal war. How about the innocent Iraqi men, women and children who are dying everyday due to U.S. occupation. Don't you care? If you do, come to the rally and voice your concern over those who are needlessly dying everyday. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, it will only make it worse.
